i got a alpine MRX-V70 5 channel amp
alpine type "R" speakers all the way around
and an alpine type "s" ten
all paired with a 120$ kenwood...

I have an 88 non iroc, has the 15" 5 spoke wheels

right now it has
235/60/15 front
275/60/15 rear..

and i rub on everything

i like the larger tires in the back but am having a problem...

Weird issue

So my car warms up fine in the afternoon gets up to 220 and runs fine

But when it's cold in the morning, the car won't get past 150..

I replaced my temp sender, and changed the coolant and rad...

Fel pro kit was positive type and o ring for intake and unbrella and Oring for exhaust, works good so far :) just did mine last weekend

I was having the same symtoms..

Smoke on start, smoke on idle after sitting, and smoke on acceleration after idling

Replaced my stem seals this weekend, no more smoke, I put positive seals on...

I can't for the life of me, find the black plastic piece that surrounds the door handle/lock/mirror adj etc

Also my dash is SUPER cracked is there any good...

According to the interwebs the felpro positive seals fit with no machining... So could I put this set on both intake and exhaust?

Or all the valves different sizes?

So autozone lists a felpro kit for exhausts that is unbrella and oring

They list intake set as oring and positive type... I'm confused as to what I need?

I'm all for doing stuff right, just don't want to sink a ton of money into a 305 of unknown condition.. I plan on building a mild 350 once I'm confident this guy is gonna get me to work for a while..

Positive seals require machining the guides I was told

Summit also says those fit lt motors not my old lo3

I am getting a compression tester tomorrow

Alright, now the question.. I'm seeing positive stop seals and umbrella seals, which ones fit my heads?

Sounds like the positive stop ones need to have a spot to be pressed into, does my motor...

Kinda what I was thinking, if I floored it, it should be all James Bond getaway scene style, but it doesn't do that, a little puff when I first get on it then its fine until it sits or idles for a bit

Haha a the car is my daily I'm ok with my motor being ok :)
