when i was a service manager for goodyear advanced wanted me to use them to try them out we installed them on about 20 cars fwd rwd it didnt make a differance they all got replaced within 3 months ....

you will also have head gaskets but you wont be using them unless you going to have a machine shop doing the springs

yes , make you get some quality gaskets , get a full engine gasket set you will have some extra valve stem o rings and some little gaskets you might not need .

on the springs they will most likely work but just think how many times you hit the loud pedal, think how many times they compressed and the heat cycles. if they are weak you will experience valve...

yes I just rebuilt my lg4 for my car , I got the 981-16 springs when I was installing them I was just going to use the stock retainers with the comp keepers they would not sit right . If they don't...

rainmaster when changing a cam always change your lifters , springs , retainers and timing chain . comp cams makes what they call a k kit more expensive but gives you everything you need to match...

the nice thing about the 9 bolt is its like a ford 9 inch the axles are held in with bearing plates our c lip eliminators to most

I agree If you don't have a 305 that's built with some sort of power adder I would not
run a ford nine inch . that's why the Australian 9 bolt would be a good choice if on a budget. most people...

if you do a gear swap from a 2 series gear to 3 series gear you have to change the diff

when I tried to keep my 7.5 10bolt together I got an auburn unit Richmond gears moser axles . without fail every 6 months i would split the pinion . i thought maybe i was setting up the gears wrong...

Camaro firebird tpi had 9th cold start injector corvette did not that's why you need to change the fuel rail to Camaro firebird and the runners to Camaro firebird

if your car is a 90 it should have a key with a chip if it does you need a computer system from a 88 up f body with a vats 85 86 system wont work with vats

speed density tpi works of the vacume of the upper intake if the tpi came from a car with sd it will have 3 vac ports on the side , maf had 2 . if you want to run a big cam sd

my take is to buy and build with the 350 in mind , find a 9 bolt with a 327 ratio our 345 ratio from a stick , 1 5/8 long tube headers custom y pipe to cat back exhaust . buy an intake for a vortec...

also on the engine you got if it came from a corvette the fuel rail is different then one
for the fbody. you also might have to change your pickup in your fuel tank and the lines

I just came across your post . painless wire made a stand alone harness and computer for street rod guys using tpi engines .If they still make it that would cure your problem

and yes it can be fixed . you might have to search in some yards but they are there.i purchaced a 1988 gta for 400 bucks after fixing the fried wires and a ignition i drove it 4years till just july...
