Yah it's the back freeze plug over the starter im just woundering what caused it to over heat and blow the hose off in the first place, im thinking maybe water pump

yah i had a TPS read fine and it was new but it was under worenty so i swapted it out just to be sure and the car ran noticably better.

I spent a lot of time dealing with an issue like this but I didn't get a code 42, have you checked the grounds and the wires off of the ecm and your timing? also check the module on the distributor...

so update it was the distributor ive got the new one in and its running much bet but I still need to fine-tune the timing and was wondering if anybody knew the timing for the 89 5.7 350 tpi

yah that's what I was thinking I want some headers as well and want to do all of it at once, and like all parts they come in pairs so more in needs more out hahaha I want to get a nice big throttle...

not exactly a weird find but on my formula it had two Fiero headlight motors instead of the stock ones. had to re-splice the wires when the motors went

i just remembered the first problem this car had was the engine coolant fan wouldn't shut off. it lead to the battery dying, then the ignition relay went out, then the fuel pump would randomly not...

my 89 formula has the same issue but only when its full. after a bit it dies down and its not just inside the car but outside as well, I had a friend park behind it an hour or so after I had filled...
