I'm having the same issue with my 91 Z 1LE. Fan goes on immediately. I don't have AC obviously so should I change the relay? I also have an check engine light on but even when I jump the ALDL I can't...

I tried using a test light ,used a ground, and tried to check the wires entering the fuse box but didn't see any power. Should I look at one specific wire? I mean which wire is the main power supply...

Quick question for guys who use the brake light switch to energize the reverse lock out solonoid.... Do you wire to the switch or splice into the wiring? Does wire gage matter?

Thank you! That is the bracket I need. Apparently the local GM dealer cannot locate the part number. Ill try the classifieds on here and see what I can find.

Sorry guys. I tried searching but cant seem to locate it. Im about to slap in a T56 and wanted to see if anyone knows the torque spec before I install. Fork just seems really loose.

Thats the thing....Ive got the tools to do it and was planning to use the boot as a template but I need to know where the hole starts. Is there an indentation on the yunnel to use as a starting point?

This is a long time issue. Car was put on hold with the birth of my daughter and am now getting back at it. Im 1/3 of the way into a T56 swap and am wanting to tackle this brake issue shortly after....

I dont mind using the third gen stuff just I think its easier to run all the 4th gen switches and wiring amd keep the cruise working.

I went out and tested the yellow at the switch....POWER!!! on crank. Jumped the car with my other car and it fired right up!!! Must have been a loose conection and when the probe for the test light...

Ok. I went out and tried the paper clip thing just for the heck of it. No change. I dont have a volt meter so I figured Id try a test light on the start enable relay. I found a good ground...test it...

No. Havent started with the electric side of the swap. Simply hung the clutch and brake pedal. Since I need to move the car around a bit before the full swap I just transferred over the brake light...

timing is stock and no real tuning yet as tranny is slipping so gonna wait until T56 is in

vacuum is 13"-14" at 800 rpm idle
