Yeah, I've seen that in the past on other engines. I used thread sealer on all the bolts and still end up with oil.
EDIT: I was hoping someone might have any other ideas of why I'm burning...

Yes I have. Twice. Both seemed good. No big deviation (>10%) between cylinders. Then I thought maybe it was sucking a little oil from the valve cover via the PCV valve and sending it to the throttle...

Your cam is somewhat close to what I had in mine. I think mine had a little more exhaust lift, but same 112 LSA. I think the RPM range was higher though. Good on a manual car though!!

Really no need to get rid of the CCC even if you move up to a 350....just change the jets and you're good to go. Everything will bolt up to the 350 just like the 305...
