Thank you for your response, Tuned Performance My car doesnt get anywhere near 23 mpg. Can I ask why you wouldnt lean out the engine and what could happen if I did?

I have a 1991 trans am 5.7 tpi. Is it possible to have the prom tuned to make the car get better fuel economy? Even if this sacrifices performance a bit. Please let me know, thanks.
