Re: Too Small of Speakers for the back seat speakers

You can make something out of thin wood, plastic, or metal, or there are pre made plastic speaker adapter plates available.

Re: 1990 5.7 TPI Rough Idle when Warm

Another vote for checking your injector ohms cold and hot.

Re: LO3 305 OEM externals on LT1 5.7 swap

I know hardly anything about the 2nd gen motors since they had such a short run before GM pulled the plug, and there is little aftermarket support.

All I can really add to this conversation is if...

If not, I am sure someone can help you out.

Re: Lower-cost legal headers

You shouldn't have an issue if you are adding/keeping the air injection.
Unlike California, replacement parts do not have to be state approved.
You just need to have all the equipment(AIR, EGR,...

Re: 1991 Camaro RS: stereo single or double din?

Plug and play if you have a harness adapter. Otherwise you have to get a wiring diagram and match up the factory wires to the appropriate wires on the aftermarket stereo.

Re: 1991 Camaro RS: stereo single or double din?

Putting a double din in these cars is not plug and play.
You can get a wiring harness adapter, so I guess that part of the equation can be plug and play.
But due to the size of the radio...

Re: aftermarket radio doesn't work anymore.

Just to clarify, when you say you have power to the plug, do you have it to both the red and the yellow wires of the radio? If one has power but the other doesn't, the radio doesn't work.

Lift up and down on the door and to see if there is movement in the pins/bushings and replace if that is where the play is.

Re: Need to tow car no front wheels

If nothing else, go to a wrecking yard and pick up a couple of wheels with tires. Something you could get for cheap for roller purposes would be S10 wheels, the bolt pattern is the same.

Re: What's this pulley for?

Your comment about a wire from the battery going directly to it leaves me clueless.
Otherwise, I would be 100% confident it is the smog pump.

The glass tops will work in place of the lexan. The latch mechanism is a little different, but it will latch securely.

Re: 1991 Camaro RS: stereo single or double din?

Yep, GM and the other manufacturers were using din 1.5 at the time, and even though millions of cars were made with that radio size, the aftermarket never embraced it.

So you can use a din with an...

Re: New to Car Audio: Will This Work?

Like cdoyle said, you will need an enclosure for these subs.
You will need to have about 1.5 cubic ft of enclosure space for each of these subs.
