5.3 out of a 2000 silverado, with 114k on the clock. Turns freely by hand with a socket wrench, but feels kinda gritty, so I'm going to rebuild it. Paid $550 for the complete...

Coming from a guy with a lot Mustang experience (me), pull them both together. The amount of difficulties pulling my 3.1 and shoving a 5.4 into an 01 GT, pull and replace them as a connected unit.
