They are in decent shape, but the driver's side should really be re-upholstered. Shipping would be VERY expensive due to weight and size... also very difficult to package. Every other year we visit...

You can always go to a boating supply and they should be able to advise you how to deal with the patching materials.
An electric sander will help A LOT!
Get it patched and smooth and a good spray...

Yes...you really should try to make it here next year (or even slip over on Saturday for the day). Unfortunately you won't see many 3rd gens but you will see about 3,000 great cars...
