Anyone have experience with Moog 5660 or 5608? (Tried 5662 & 5658).

I've tried Moog 5662 (spring rate 706lbs) & Moog 5658 (spring rate 579lbs).

5662 = Sat too high for my liking, cutting would raise the spring rate and I didn't want any harsher of a ride.

Found - No longer searching. This with the 89+ shorter serpentine routing has really helped with AC vibrations.
Still have some 'buzzing' on the alternator itself that you can feel but I'll update...

Bump, still looking!
On a related note, switching to the 89+ routing with the shorter serpentine belt has helped reduced vibrations from the AC being on and I believe this is the final step for me...

Thanks for that link! - I ordered that brace from GMPartsGiant - 10105267.

I'll have to go look around in junkyards for that AC to T-stat brace, it looks very similar to the rear...

Thank you for confirming, I always thought I was missing something there, I was also missing the alternator bracket that connects to the manifold. (luckily found a NOS one on ebay).

As an update, if you tilt it all the way back you can pull part of it down to see the threads that push/pull the piece that extends the headrest.

I shot some WD40 into the threads and kept turning...

My Driver's side headrest won't extend more than a 1/2" or so while the passenger side as you can see in the pic extends fully.
Does anyone know how to fix this? It almost seems like the cog gets...

As an update, I ended up getting a modified Bonneville radio from a member on here that fixes them. It looks exactly the same but don't have to worry about the GTA Mute button on the steering wheel...

According to the other member he said that while almost exactly the same, the Bonneville radios do not work with the GTA steering wheel controls because of some unique components in the radio.

Think if I spliced into the Mute wire to feed it full power from another live wire/switch that would work?
I think at the base of the steering shaft would work there..?

My other solution is to buy a 1990+ Pontiac radio - I believe the Bonneville's have a similar radio or move to a 4th gen's radio.

Very nice, I'm guessing since my thermostat issue was fixed I could probably return to the factory fans if I really wanted.

Thanks for doing all the leg-work on that! Sounds like we found a pretty good combination for the LS1 fan shroud.
I'm sure it doesn't really matter, but are you running the TPI fan on the driver...

After flushing the coolant multiple times with cleaner/new coolant, new thermostat, cleaning the condenser, and getting those 2 side pieces...

I ended up using some condenser cleaner foam and hosed it out, seemed to help on the drive today with AC Max doing 65-75mph for 10min on the highway then 15min of city driving. (Ambient was 87...
