We connected a harness from the CTS directly to the ECM pin C10, and D1. Reading 330 ohms at about 170 degrees, and saw steady decrease in resistance as the engine warmed. The car did not smoke...

Looks like several of those go up to the power distribution block which is behind the fuse block on the left side, under the dash. The thick orange wire is a power wire, and that style of plug clips...

Painless makes the harness for that engine in a couple of different lengths. You can find them listed on ebay, through a number of distributors. Painless doesn't sell direct. I bought one for a 89...

It's a gloss finish. Needs more wheeling and waxed to better shine, but paint is too new for that just yet. She shines in the direct sun though.

Here are some pictures of both sets. Set #2 is from a 1990 Formula. The motors on set #2 are going onto my 88 T/A. I will put a set of motors from an 86 Firebird onto them.
