Code 42 possible solution

I was getting a code 42 after my T56 swap. Trans swap had nothing to do with it just when it happened. Chased wires for a couple hours with my meter and test light following the test tree for that...

I have an almost new Hurst Dual Gate shifter. I got it new and installed on my '91 Z28. Got about 100 street miles before my stock trans lost 3rd and 4th gear. Converting to T56 so no longer needed....

All fuses are good even checked with a meter at the fuse box. Looks like I need to probe pink/black wire and see if I lose lower at some point. Thanks

Anyone tell me what powers the gauge cluster? Turn indicators and high beam indicator work but nothing else... assuming it's got to be the power source....

Nevermind. Found it after googling images for a couple hours. It's the fog light switch plug. I don't have fog lights anymore so must not be my problem...
