i did the same swap and used the v6 harness just had to change iac plug and tps plug it as real easy

first engine swap

started out with a 91 camaro rs v6 car was going to fix the floors found better car 91 rs v8 car no engine or tranny bought a 90 trans am 305 out of a junkyard $150 did not take the wiring harness...

if the engine doesnt crank and you have a good battery check neurtrul safty switch if cranks but dont start check for spark and then check that it is getting fuel
