Thanks and FYI the car is for sale. I have it move with my job. It's in the for sale section. I lowered it to 9500 as I move in a few months.

Willing to take $9500. Yes car was shipped from the factory with no ac. The printout I received from gm said only 67 were shipped that way. Car does only have 33,326 miles Thanks for the pm's.

I just completed the exact same swap you would have, but I bought an L31 crate motor. Huge improvements. Just some basic issues which I worked out with some tuning and adjusting idle. All is good now...

Uncle tom I completed my swap and yes this engine does pull like a bat out of hell. My issue was the iat sensor wire was bad and causing all kind of issues. Fixed that and now it drives excellent.

Mine is a brand new crate motor, all new items as well. Nothing is reused from the 305 on the motor. Yep I have new plugs for a 2001 truck.

Yes lots of room in the engine bay without the a/c. So far I have the sub frame connectors welded in, new fuel pump, sway bars, lower control arms, and 3.73 gears in the rear with a posi unit.

L31 crate motor, I have an lt4 cam, new springs and so on. I am keeping the tbi but have a bored out tbi unit along with bigger injectors. I have many more goodies too

Spohn sub frame connectors...

I may just stay with the stock pump for now to. Mine only has 33k on it. I have the better pump but its just a pain in the butt to change it.
