Re: 1 of 3 'Vert 1986 T/A???

Just quoting what the ad says. They claim that they researched it and cannot find any other 86 'verts besides the 3 they mention in the ad. It really is not that uncommon for a company to put...

1 of 3 'Vert 1986 T/A???

Just saw this in our local Craigslist and thought I'd share it, simply because it's so interesting. (If this is not allowed, feel free to delete the post)

Re: Short Tube Header Install Question

I should have posted this earlier, but better late than never!

Re: Hysterical History

Just remember, the Chevy Citation had a Iron Duke in it. They were indestructible, but they didn't have any power. That's probably why so many 2.5s were mated to a manual trans.

Re: Making a 5.3 truck pan fit a 3rd gen. (lots of pics)

Too bad you're not in West Michigan. I know a good welder who would have welded that (without cringing at it being cast) and probably would have cost well under $100.

If you want to find a welder...

Re: 5.3 drop-in ready

How much do you charge for a harness mod? I'm considering a 5.3 or 4.8 swap in the next year. Too bad you're down south and I'm not. Shipping would kill me on the motor.

OK, here's (yet) another timing question. With the timing set properly, the advance wire plugged in, and the motor warm, the timing does not advance (or advances negligibly) when the engine is...

Re: LS1 brakes: will my combination of parts work?

When you say "shimming my stock," what are you shimming? Inside the prop valve where the spring presses against the screw-cap?
