Re: Halo Headlights w/ bumper and sidemarkers

Yes mine do that too. I've no idea why really. I've flipped the adapters around changing polarity and everything then finally just gave up on it. Doesn't bother me too much though. I don't think that...

Re: My 1989 Camaro RS

Long time no update on my car. I ordered new exhaust for it at the end of last week and am getting it put on in the next few days. I got Hedman headers part #: 68470, the true dual dynomax part...

Re: 89 RS won't start

It's a brand new starter that they tested before they sold it to me at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Tested it twice. So. It works. Just not on the car. I'll double check wires, again.

Re: 89 RS won't start

Checked those. All are good. Could it be something with the VATS since the security light isn't ever coming on?

89 RS won't start

I have tried searching the forums and couldn't find a direct answer. When I turn the switchall power comes on for radio and fan and everything comes on. I try to start the car and nothing happens. I...

Re: Halo Headlights w/ bumper and sidemarkers

Mine are the clear parking lights. And quality wise, they're pretty good. The headlight housings are glass, has a rubber thing that goes over the back of the housing to cover the bulb and everything...

Re: Halo Headlights w/ bumper and sidemarkers

I've not been pulled over, but I also don't drive it that much at night and the cops aren't really that strict around here either.

Re: Halo Headlights w/ bumper and sidemarkers

They're supposed to be blue. The bulb is blue. I'm not sure what kind of bulb exactly, but you could probably just buy that same bulb in another color and change the color of the halos.

Re: Halo Headlights w/ bumper and sidemarkers

Stroxell: It was all plug-n-play type of stuff really. No fabrication at all. The only thing that wasn't plug-n-play was where I wired the halos into the parking lights. Which was still easy.

Halo Headlights w/ bumper and sidemarkers

I bought a whole set of headlights, bumper lights, and sidemarkers from Ebay seller neondials. I paid 170.95. Came with all four headlight bulbs and adapters for them.

Re: My 1989 Camaro RS

Yeah I like it too but with the engine bay is white I just figured it'd be easier to go white. If I had the money to get the motor rebuilt or money for a swap then I would get it painted black while...

Re: My 1989 Camaro RS

@Apolo I'm not too sure on the size really but I think 215/65/15 maybe? I'll double check on my break.

@KamikazeIroccy I somewhat got the water thing fixed. I just put some plexi-glass on the...

Finally had the chance to change my oil again and spark plugs for the first time. Also got to test out some ramps I built. Does it take anyone else a good while to change the plugs and wires?

Re: My 1989 Camaro RS

I have a question about my Daytona hood. I need my car to be a dd and I'm afraid water will get in the engine bay and get on something that doesn't need to be wet, mainly distributor and stuff,...

Went and got a new used hood last Friday morning. Not in new condition but not bad I don't think for only a hundred bucks.

Any other ThirdGen owners around Northwest Georgia? I've seen just a few other ThirdGens around here. I live in Chattooga County and am in Walker County just about every weekend.
