I will have to double check with my dad but i think it was 1/4 inch thick with diameter of 1/2 inch. And no i didn't put a cap on it.

I took heavy duty rubber hosing and cut it the diameter of the bearings needed and replaced the crumbled bearings with the hose. Works like a charm and cost 10 minutes of my time lol

Not sure what tires yet but I will definitely look into the Firehawks and we used Dupli-Color Black from Auto Zone and Montana Clear from NAPA. Not sure what type of spray gun it was but I will ask...

Yea I am not trying to make it look like a tuner lol, At the time of those pics the exhaust was still all screwed up and that's what we are currently working on now. And We do still need to buff it....

Well we did have some body work to do. A couple dents and a couple rust spots to fill in. We did all that, sanded it down, then we wet sanded the whole car and wiped it down. Taped her up and sprayed...

Well the black paint was Dupli-Color Black from AutoZone which cost about $100.00 and we used Montana Clear Coat from NAPA which was $98.00. So about $200.00 for the paint job.

Thanks for the advice. I am either gonna paint my panels black or do sheet metal in place of my panels. My cousin did that in his 89' Mustang and it looked SWEET! So I think I might do that.

No it doesn't shift around at all. We cat it just the right size that it fits very tightly into the space back there. We do have a few screws holding it to the car but other that that it fits tightly...
