Yes, I remember reading the same thing once, but I haven't seen anything to confirm it.

I haven't installed my A/C yet, but I did test fit it once and I don't think I would cut it any closer than I did (see pics in post #42 above).

Heck of a lot of work to get in there and redo it...

My logic for placing the regulator up front was to keep heavy fuel flow through those supply and return lines while idling on a hot day, instead of the branch off...
