ok can i run the car without the hypertech on it im looking to rule some issues out..It idles very rough when cold im trying to see if its my new chip or the darn hypertech..

Power is not too bad i really dont have it dialed in yet so. Im not sure gain wise.. I will tell you this though..Carolina wont put a big cam in the l98 it voids there warranty..They are concerned...

i bought a l98 long block from them with vortech heads on it..I had to eat the core charge on the damn thing..I believe with me not getting core credit i came in at like 2150..Thats the high torque...

if i am understanding your post correctly i believe what you are looking at is the check valve..Small piece has one line going to it from your intake and 2 lines coming out 1 to the cruise control ...

Sorry i never knew that question was asked..I got the motor from Carolina Machine Engines...Its in and running now i just need to have the chip modified but engine runs good so far no problems on...

Check the thermostat, Was the waterpump rebuilt or new ?..Also take a temp gun and shoot the upper and lower hoses on the radiator..Verify that the temp your gauge reads is accurate..Sounds to me...

hmm well i have 2 options here..I am looking to go long block here so i dont void a warranty just in case..I can order a tpi long block with an upgraded cam, or i can order the l31 long block...

ok guys i was hoping for a 300 hp flywheel rating on an engine i could run tpi on. Looks like i may go with the atk engine, its rated at 351 hp 380 torque I believe..There using vortec heads on it so...

Ab that was my original plan until i found the 2 pushrods were bent on the number three..Also found some marks in the piston where the valve hit it..Problem is price around here ..Im in Ny one guy...

You can reuse the carpet providing its in good shape..I am painting everything on my car door jambs hatch jambs..So removing all my stuff was needed..If you are not doing a color change and dont mind...

Did you have a custom tune done on the Ecm? I would start with ignition stuff first also check gorunds on the car .. Check alt output i had an astrovan once when throttle was stepped on fuses blew...

Ok im in the process of painting right now so maybe i can help you a bit...I pulled all my weather stripping off the car ..The roof rails , doors, hatch etc, If your shop is not doing the door jambs...
