Re: Vortec engine build dyno numbers. How'd I do and what next?

Well I know I'm late to the party here but from what I can see on the dyno graphs is the power curve is nearly flat once the rpm/motor is "up on the cam". It would be nice to read the RPM on the...

Re: Intermittent misfire

If it was electrical or electronic most likely the ECM would throw a fault code. Have you checked or tested your fuel injectors?

Re: Add EGR back in?

Well if you lived in a hot location I would say the EGR might have a cooling benefit while cruising as its function is to make the cylinder run cooler by diluting the air/fuel charge.

If you...

Re: Thirdgen Smog Pump as Vacuum pump?

How 'bout attach a propeller to the pump and hang it out in the windstream? Steal a prop from a drone or RC model and mount the pump right on the front of the car. Hey it won't cost a thousand bucks...

Thx for the table Skinny. I can estimate I could drop lifter only like a tenth inch on a cam with a common 0.5" valve lift. Not much for what I think is needed here to use dog bone rollers.

Re: Lt1 tuning?

Yes, that's it. The '95 and later transmission used pulse width modulation PWM AND THE '94 4L60E doesn't. Sorry but I don't the fix for that or if there is one other than replace the transmission.
