Ok, that’s exactly how I have it drawn up too. My car is also a manual and definitely has a speed sensor circuit that wires through the factory ECM though.

I removed the coil and bracket mount, cleaned the connectors and the mount, removed and cleaned the engine to battery ground and replaced the engine to chassis ground. I have a lot better spark now....

I’ve got 12v when key is in accessory and it drops to 10v while cranking. That’s at the pink wire that goes “through” the coil and to the distributor. The measurement was taken at the distributor.

So it’s a better idea to dump the modified injectors and get new. Do you recommend 30 lbs for a 383 build? I’ve heard either way. My cam has a max lift of .520/.540.

I think that you have described my situation exactly with the too rich for the O2 sensor to read properly. The exhaust is actually producing light soot and the plugs are blackened.
