Re: Firebird vs. Camaro which do you prefer?

I just got a Stingray and while I love the way it looks, I love the way my z28 drives much better. The last Firebird I like the looks of was the S&B version with the Batmobile nose.

Re: Firebird vs. Camaro which do you prefer?

I loved Camaros, Firebirds and Vettes since I was 15. Camaros have been what I've always bought because they were less expensive.

Re: Firebird vs. Camaro which do you prefer?

I almost bought a new '78 TA for $9000 but the Z28 was about half the price. I liked "The Bandit" car but not at that price. Finally bought a '79 Z28 new for $5500.
My first muscle car was a '68...

Re: Throttle body air filter?

Yeah, I am going to add ducting to the stock CAI in the Spring. Great in the cold weather right now though and it looks cool for "show and tell".

How hard are headers to install on a third gen? My friend's '73 was a PITA to install and you had to pull them to change the back two spark plugs.

I have a 305 TPI '92 Z28 and need an IAC. NAPA has two that look identical but one is $150 the other is $50. They say the $50 one is for the RS model and the $150 one is for "F" engines. Is there a...

I bought my 327 '68 Camaro for $700 in '74. Same year I could have had a '63 split-window vette for $4500. Today's ho-hum can be OMGs in 20 years.

Re: why are 3rd gens the "ugliest" f-body?

My '92 305 Z is rated 30-50 more HP than my '78 Z. The '92 is about a second quicker in the 1/4 mile (when new). Took a holley and a straight pipes to get the '78 to do 15 sec. The '92 is pretty much...
