Re: No spark after head swap, help appreciated

That's a great website thank you, very thorough. I tested it all the way back to the pickup coil on the distributor, it tested a constant .1 ac volts, instead of the .3-1.8 ac volts is supposed to...

Re: No spark after head swap, help appreciated

All I see going into the ignition control module is 2 plugs, one with 2 wires, one with 4. I checked both for voltage, and the 2 wire plug shows 10.3 ac volts on the meter but it does not show...

Re: No spark after head swap, help appreciated

I was told there should be a blinking signal at one of the wires when the key is in the start position, however i checked all 4 wires, none blink, they all show constant signal.

Head Gasket Diagnosis question?

I was told a way to diagnose a bad headgasket is to remove the serpentine belt, so that the water pump does not spin, and start the vehicle with the cap off. If coolant erupts from the open radiator...

Re: Timing set advice for Vortec 350 with L98 cam

Yes I'm not too concerned. I just need a roller block, this short block has no cam installed but does have provisions for the factory roller cam.

Re: Timing set advice for Vortec 350 with L98 cam

I know, that's not really my concern. Like I said if it wasn't drilled I know it at least had the bosses so it's no problem.

Re: 1991 z28 $5000

This is not the original speedo to this car, most likely, and the mileage is probably not...
