Keeping an eye out - 88-92 Formulas!

Hey all,

I figured this is worth a shot, so I'm posting here!

Yes, my previous thread was about a car I just sold - A '91 base model I had intended to turn into a Formula clone car. Sadly, it...

1991 Firebird F/S [SOLD]

Hey all,

Wish I didn't have to be writing this, but here goes! Long story short, I must (regretfully) leave the third gen world for awhile. This car has been my on and off project for a number of...

Re: 305 rebuild

I've heard of some pretty absurd gains on L03's just from headers, a good cat-back exhaust system, and a tune. The stock exhaust is horribly restrictive, and is probably a good place to start before...

Re: 350 TBI w/T5 - Check engine light?

Alice, can you please share some more details on your swap? So you ran it on the stock 305 ECM? Did you use the 350 ESC (spark module), knock sensor, and injectors? Or were there more 305 parts than...

350 TBI w/T5 - Check engine light?

Hey all,

I did some reading up in a 305-350 swap thread, but still have some questions about this.

It's my understanding that if you're doing a 305 TBI to 350 TBI conversion on a T5 car, you...

Re: Edelbrock performer heads? (60859)

Good to hear about the Edelbrock heads.

I wouldn't buy a used motor without seeing/hearing it run, and preferably with a comp/leakdown test. The rest of the car is ok, but the 305 currently in it...

Re: A/C seems to only work when you give it accelleration throttle?

Sounds like it's probably compressor/clutch related - Like they may be going bad, but that engine throttle is giving it enough momentum to kick into functioning mode, temporarily at least.
