i would say 1/2" or 8 an fittings = more flow the better, im running 1/2" on my holley black setup

new stupidity im facing is last owner put broke off 3 of the 4 trans mounts and spot welding them in the welds were so weak i could pull the one side down with my hands

You have a vss unit so no cable leads to trans just wiring , but i have heard of folks swapping out the vss for the mechanical cable.

readjusted timing and idle, the tach is now at 1800 rpm reason it reads that because im going from a 6 to 8 cylinder setup , in due time a new tach.

electrical if your going carbed, remove the wire set thats on the passenger side , thats for the epa and injectors and the sensors related to it all and removal instruction are posted on the site....
