I design electrical systems for fire trucks, police cars, we use 4000watt/ peak, 2000watt/rms power inverters for scene lights. Running that kind of power you should use 4/0 cable, preferably welding...

I have an 84 5.0 H.O with a 700r4 and 3.73 posi. and I love it, the launch is incredible. The question is when does your power come in? how can you best leverage that to get what you want, the 5.0's...

my 84 trans am is bone stock except for magnaflow chrome exhuast tips, I have toyed with the idea of putting a high power 350 to replace the L69 5.0, I just cant bring myself to change somthing that...

one common issue I see alot is people not using dielectric lube between the ignition module and the distributor, any new module should come with a littile pack of dielectric its not enough buy a tube...

does anyone here know if my 84 trans am 5.0 H.O (vin G )has both a mechanical fuel pump, and an electric from the factory? i know for sure it at least has a mechanical pump
