Yup those are known as "cross lace" wheels and were used in different forms on GTAs, Trans Ams, and Buick Grand Nationals. There should be "front" and "rear" cast into the back of the wheels also.

Yes the new style band clamps are way better, and a lot easier to install, then the older style u-bolt type. The only upgrade from the band clamps is to move to a v-band clamp like you'd see on turbo...

My handheld was giving me issues during the initial setup until I put my battery charger on it. The techs said it wasn't seeing enough voltage even though I had 12v keyed.
