89 IROC hesitating

hey i have a stock 89 iroc w/ the 5.7tpi/700r4 and i just started experiencing a problem today while driving
when i start to accelerate the engine seems to not get any gas once it hits about 2200rpm...

agreed. i dont know about you guys, but i think the shape of the body and the stance of thirdgens are almost like older ferraris. they just look awesome and aggressive.
