Here is everything you need to replace the protective pads on your convertible. Mine were still in great shape when I replaced the top. So, I have this left over.

It includes new in the package 9"...

It was used 2 times.

Yes, it works just as described, and you don't have to poke through your wire insulation to get your Voltage.

Years ago, I had a transmission that did that.

It made all kinds of grinding noises at times.

The tranny was rebuilt, and no more grinding.

After much checking and finding nothing, I disconnected the connector to the transmission, and the fuse did not blow while driving.

Taking it back the the tranny shop.

On the front side of the knob (toward the radio), there is a clip that pulls out. It looks like a staple. After you pull that out, the knob will pull off.

Hopefully you didn't tear the shifter up...

It doesn't matter as long as it isn't dented or rusted and is straight.

The paint (or lack of paint) doesn't matter since it will be painted anyway.
