Site slow?
anybody else have speed issues on the site? whenever a new page loads it freezes for like 20 seconds. Just wondering if its my computer or my slow overpriced internet or the site itself.

Re: Site slow?
Are we talking about at this moment in time of your post? Or for X amount of previous time?
When you describe "freezes for 20 seconds", is that before the new page is switched to, or are you seeing a part of the new page (like a top half of it) before the rest of the page loads later?

Re: Site slow?
Yea, goes to new page where i only see the top half. then few seconds later the full page loads but I gotta wait a few more seconds before I can scroll or click or type or do anything. Its been like this the past month for me I believe.

Re: Site slow?
Ive noticed it too (last couple of days)....I just passed it off as a server issue. Seems fine today.

Re: Site slow?
I believe this has something to do with your browser's rendering and certain elements - such as table usage. FireFox tends to display the page as it's loading, while IE tends to wait until the enter page is finished loading (in certain cases).
Plus FireFox, a well-known and competing browser, comes with additional advantages.
