It's a plugin for vBulletin, "ITrader", that Dave recently installed this morning. Basically, it is like eBay's feedback system. Members can rate their transactions with each other.

Seriously a VERY BAD IDEA!!! I have looked into the new feedback system and I personally don't like it for many reasons,
1-I can leave negative or positive feedback for anyone regardless if I have ever dealt with them.
2-Without an absolute transaction this system is and can be manipulated very easily
3-TGO needs to set rules for selling items like other SMALLER boards do. I see a lot of people who are here just to sell items and they never contribute to the board? If all you want to do here is sell parts then please PAY TO ADVERTISE like most do (you know who you are)
4- I could go on and on but please chime in if you agree with me.

I would have to agree.

And just to prove the point- I left 82 Iron Duke some positive feedback, which could just as easily have been negative- and I've never exchanged two words with him, ever (that I can recall at least).

True, but the past system (Classified Ads Feedback Board) wouldn't prevent that from happening either.

I don't believe that the feature will be removed, atleast not in the immediate future. It might be tweaked, but so far, the results have been more positive than negative in regard to the system. It's atleast worth letting it run for a period of time.

Feedback can be reported, and all moderators are sent notices on certain conditions.

Fixed. Someone missed your usergroup (TGO Supporter) when setting up the system.

Hello JT,
I was going to leave feedback for a buyer just now and it states "Sorry, but you can not rate any more people today." I have not rated anyone today

Without digging deeper at the moment, I would guess it is because a day = 24 hour period. It looks like your reviews were done yesterday evening, which means a full day has not yet passed. If it doesn't work later, let us know.

We are still discussing at what point users should be able to leave feedback. Possible a minimum 25 post to enable that feature. There may also be additional plugins or require a url to a thread in which the transaction was discussed.

It's the best option that is available for vB at this point in time and is used on numerous forums.

Alternatively, if you feel this is insufficient, what do you suggest we put in it's place.

I have added a feature that stops random people from leaving feedback at any given time.

Also, negative rep will be sent to all moderators, so if there is ever a dispute we have all been notified before hand of the situation.

I wonder who that could have been?

To help block the spam that everyone was worried about iTrader has been set up so that you can only give 3 feedbacks per day.
