Paxton supercharger

Hello all,

I have the opportunity to buy what appears to be a complete Paxton sn-92 88-92 kit with a recent rebuild by Paradise. I tried searching but didn't find any recent threads relating to what the current value is. He is asking $2000, which seems high to me.

Any help/tips, etc.?

Thanks

Re: Paxton supercharger

Eh its about right at that price. I bought a rare 85-87 kit for IIRC 1500, and she needs a rebuild. At this point, you are paying for the ability to say you are running a vintage SC in a vintage car. Procharger makes a better SC for about $2500 more at base trim.

Thanks for the feedback. Many years ago, I thought I remembered the Paxton kits trading hands for under $1000 here on the boards. Then again I’m a little bit older now and perhaps my memory isn’t what it used to be.

Re: Paxton supercharger

Tha seems high. Think a rebuild is around 800. Usually used they go for around 8 -1200. But that is a sn2000. Sn92 is a really old model.
