Nitrous Options from the gurus

Had my new motor built to handle the spray. Looking at options for the right setup. Could I use 2 carb plates with the nozzles between my upper and lower intake on my stealth ram? Im looking at running a 150-200hp shot and what size injectors would I need for this? I have the Holley HP system so Im gonna let it control it as a progressive setup.

You would need a specific plate for the holley intake as its an odd shape. Not sure anyone makes them. It isnt a regular carb plate

a nitrous nozzle upstream of the throttle body would be easiest and likely cheapest but Keep an eye on the distribution/plugs

injectors are gonna have to be sized based on total hp expected and desired duty cycle

I called nitrous outlet. They recommended the LT1 kit. With the plate at the throttle body. I wouldnt be using the fuel solenoid. I might pull the intake and drill and tap each port for jets. Not sure how far I wanna go. Lol.. My motor is expected to have 400HP +200HP with the nitrous.

keep in mind:

-colder spark plugs
-fuel pressure safety switch
- reading spark plugs
- purge solenoid and filter
- fuel pump/system/line size

My ecm can be set to monitor fuel pressure
Im running a walbro 255 pump but stock size fuel line.
I plan on running a purge valve.

Re: Nitrous Options from the gurus

255 should be enough fuel

single throttlebody plate is probably good even tho its designed for wet flow with fuel. Using it as a dry shot im not sure how that all works.

but dont matter i guess, as long as you tune to account for it.

i assume you set up an enrichment table that activates when nitrous activates, probably on a wot switch? 42 lb injectors may cover it

Re: Nitrous Options from the gurus

for simplicity's sake i would probably run a plate behind tb or nozzle before it. since running a dry shot, might even be able to modify the fuel spray bar to be a 2nd stage....
