Post Pics of your Forced Induction/Nitrous Sniffing Camaros/Firebirds
Wanna do a Power Adder COTM in the near future. need to know that there is enough content out there. if anyone can post some good pics of some Forced Induction/Nitroused cars here, that would help me out.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Post Pics of your Forced Induction/Nitrous Sniffing Camaros/Firebirds
i just need to see pictures of as many nice [power-added] cars as possible. this is not a COTM nomination thread.
the way Car of the Month works is that you/we, the members nominate several cars (in a *nomination thread* in the Auto Detailing and Appearance Forum) that fit the parameters of COTM. in this case they would all be power-added cars. then, a *voting thread* w/poll is created, and after a certain amount of time (usually about two weeks) whoever has the most votes is the Car of the Month.
so this thread is not to choose the COTM. it is to 1) guage whether there are enough power added cars in high quality, finished state to justify a COTM theme (and i'd think there has to be w/ Turbos/Blowers/and Nitrous. 2) once there are pics of several cars in this thread, it will make a convenient source for finding nominations for COTM.

Re: Post Pics of your Forced Induction/Nitrous Sniffing Camaros/Firebirds
Oh gawd here we go... your asking to know if there are COTM suitable vehicles out there, and the video that I posted was in fact to make you aware that Charged355 does in fact have one. It is a custom daily driven turbo powered Camaro; custom engine, custom hood, custom rims, custom nose, it's a very well put together 3rd gen, and it runs the numbers at the track. The car is complete and daily driven. What you do with the information that I gave you for your COTM proposition is in your hands, but I merely took the time and gave you a suitable vehicle for you to utilize. Your welcome.
the fact of the matter is (and i dont know if you read my entire post, or got mad and responded after seeing "i just need pictures") but my entire post was in response to the post right above it, where another member posted:
So which turbo car will it be? Can't wait!
now that you know the context of my post, hopefully that clears things up.
*edit* and i may very well have been confused about the post i had responded to, as i'm pretty sure that Confused1 knows how COTM works. still, its good information to have out there for the rest of the guys who gravitate to this Forum and may not be all that familiar with COTM.

Nobody is inferring anything, and the only confusion stems from you stating you needed as many pictures as possible, while at the same time we're not really voting, nor are we nominating, so what it is the point of as many pictures as possible from members who are not taking part? Were you only asking those who want to actually take part in the contest, and who can provide details of their projects, or members that know someone who may be considered as a possible contestant? I can slap quite a few pics of custom power adder 3rd gens, especially TTA's, but what is the point if I don't know any of their personal mods and details? This is why I posted the userID and video of a member here detailing his build, so you would know what your dealing with ahead of time, and perhaps you may of wanted to "invite" him in a PM being that this is your put together, and are looking for prospects. No reason to reply to this, I gave you the userID; Charged355, who has a very nice build and who is a member on this website. If there was a misunderstanding, no problem, but before you fly off the handle, I took time out of my day to respond to help you with what you were looking for, or so I thought lol...
But as stated there are many power adder cars here. Think we had a cotm for power adder cars once?

Re: Post Pics of your Forced Induction/Nitrous Sniffing Camaros/Firebirds
as far as i can tell, the issue is that in post #5, Confused1 posted a question that gave me the impression that he thought this thread was a COTM nomination and or voting thread. then, in post #6, i replied to Confused 1, stating that "i just need pictures of as many cars as possible," and gave an explanation that this thread was not a COTM voting or nomination thread. because i bold highlighted the word pictures, Street Lethal inferred (allegedly/IMO/whatever) that i did so because i was somehow unhappy that he had posted a link to a video instead of a picture.
again. post #6 was IN NO WAY directed at Street Lethal. there was never any issue with the video. the only issue (which may have been confusion on my part) was when Confused1 asked "So which turbo car is it going to be?" that question prompted me to explain to him that i just needed a bunch of pictures and this was not a nomination thread, etc.
to me its simple. he replied with hostility (or at least was indignant) to a post that he thought was directed at him but wasn't. i explained to him that the post was explanatory and directed at Confused1. read post 5, 6, 8, and 12. it backs up everything i just said like bread crumbs. how anyone is not understanding this...i dont know. i must be missing something.

Ok....so everyone just post pics then!! But you DID say you wanted to do a COTM in the near future, which kind of leads others to believe this is some sort of nomination type request...so I thought it was initially....so I didn't post a pic of my own car since I know how COTM works so well as you say...no biggie either way.
Still not understanding why it seems to be a huge deal...

theres more then enough pa cars , the problem is the majority of them are not upto the standards u set for cotm
like mine for example single turbo sbc badass setup but in black matte primer
my v6 turbo car doesnt have show quality paint on it either doesnt stand a chance
theres only a handful of pa cars that stand a chance under the cotm rules

But at the end of the day, it still looks ******* engineered.

the problem that i run into (and its not just you [power adder and hardcore race] guys) is that very few people have easily accessible photos of their cars here. i see one nice pic, or an interesting sig - i click on the Member's public profile - almost never a photo album - so i click on their stats to scan all threads started by that person - rarely a build thread, at least with any useable pics.
COTM is mostly all about pics.

that car could run 8s on 5 cylinders in the 1/4( think about it. a proline motor and 2 big turbos). that car is prob making the better part of 2500hp). i may be wrong but i think he only runs 1/8. if i had to guess he prob runs mid/low 4s in the 1/8 which is stupid fast. don't let the pics fool you.

i wouldnt going judging the book by its cover. Proline builds some of the baddest drag motors out there. top that with 2 big turbos and you have a receipt for big hp #s. he goes by the name Ray Jr and i believe that he run 10.5 outlaw(or something along those lines). So my question to you is what does a 2500hp motor look like?
But i do apologize for the misinformation. He claims (and i do believe) 3000hp
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/auto...tm-winner.html
that right there is a 4.5x pass in the 1/8 @ 176mph

Wow! That car is insane!!!
That has to be a six figure car at the least!! It's in a whole different league than any street driven ride all together! But if this is strictly pics of one of the best power adder cars…this one has my vote!!
