Nursed car home pig rich (10-1 AFR E85) Did i hurt anything????

See sig below. I'm running a Garrett GT series turbo combo. I was out last Friday doing test pulls. I had my AFR right at 11.0-1 (E85) which was my target WOT AFR. It all of a sudden got pig rich. (Junk in the needle and seats). I drove it home which was about 5 miles and it was dumping fuel. I took the carb off, cleaned it up and put it back on. The starter couldn't turn the motor over. I only tried this once. Next time I get to the car I will pull plugs and turn the motor over by hand to get all the fuel out of the cylinders. My question is, did I hurt anything by doing this??? I'm really worried about bending a rod with the starter or something like that. (This didn't happen while it was running. I did get it home back in my driveway.)

Any help guys?!?!

pull the plugs spin the engine over by hand do not use the starter to turn the engine over and wear saftey glasses( liquid squirting out of the sparkplug hole if u turn the engine fast enough can do serious dmage to ur eye i know somone it has happened to) , oil also needs a change , do all that install ne wplugs and fire it up. if ur really concerned about it do a compression test on all cyls before u put the new plugs in it , if any rods are bent the test will show it

But you think I should be fine if I do the above?

most likely will be ok. sounds like a float issue to make it fill a cylinder like that?
i have hydrolocked a few motors in the past from stuck injectors. one hydrolocked from driving into a deep puddle of water in a heavy downpour. (friends car)
for all of these i pulled plugs and rolled it over a few times. changed oil and they ran great again.

Thanks for the reply. I just got done pulling plugs. Two cylinders were full. I hate turning the motor over by hand. I'm afraid of breaking the crank bolt. I turned it over a quarter turn. Can I let it evaporate? Then change oil and plugs? So you think i will be ok? How long would it take for all that fuel to evaporate? Thanks.

motors have been turned over like that for years, with no plugs in you will have 0 compression and should have little resistance. you should be fine turning it by hand

With plugs pulled I would use the starter. Fuel will poof out in mist form. No biggie.

Just unplug the fuel pump relay? And disconnect the coil wire from the coil? It was pretty hard to turn by hand and I didn't want to strip the bolt.

Step 1- remove plugs. Step 2- get in car and turn ignition. Step 3- check carb for malfunctioning float. Step 4- change the oil and reinstall plugs.

Thanks man. I really hope this works. I just thought for some reason you don't want the fuel pump on while cranking and the plug wires sparking while fuel is flowing out of the cylinders. I hope the starter cranks over... It only cranked 1/2 rotation when I tried when I got it home after I ran it home rich.
