Fuel pump options

Looking for some ideas on what i need to do to my fuel system for my turbo build. I was originally shooting for 750+ at the tires through a 4l80e. With a single turbo setup. But of course.. Theres so many options on turbos im still in the air on that part. But back to fuel delivery. I see orr doing a triple walbro255.. Um. Wow. Haha. Getting serious. Any advice as far as what pumps to line sizes would be a great help.

Re: Fuel pump options

Are you running carb or fuel injection? If you are running fuel injection a dual walbro setup will be plenty for what you are looking for. The stock size fuel lines will also be enough for both feed and return.

If you are planning on going higher on the power the two pumps will still be enough, but the fuel line size along with the rails should be upgraded. A -8 feed and -6 return should be enough to get you to the quadruple digits.

Now if you are running carb then I am not educated enough to answer that question. That stuff is black magic to me. Fuel injection is so much easier to understand.

Re: Fuel pump options

Just do two if you can fit it. 2 will support 1000 whp thru a th400 with a -8 line. Thats 1100-1200 in a stick car. Ridiculous power

Second on its own relay with ground trigger to a boost hobbs switch. 1-2 psi activation is nice

Re: Fuel pump options

I think my buddy jammed pair of 400's in his 4th gen tank for an e85 setup.

Single one of those should support near 700whp i would think
