Hey how much air does one of those rotochargers flow? Whats the maximum speed you can spin that thing? Do you have any hard technical data that would prove that what your doing was even possible? Are you going to say anything useful?
P.S. I think your an attention *****.

Re: Kaiser Roto-charger on my Trans Am
So your telling me your spinning a 60 year old piece at unknown extreemly high RPMs without knowing its safe internal speed.....
And you put a "supercharger" on your car that for all you or anybody else knows doesn't even flow enough air to support the engine its on.
Did I get all that right?

I doubt pics will ever be shown of this. He'll probably come up with some excuse that he took it off to change some things around or it burnt up. He already said he's going to have the other car for over a month so why not drive that around I don't know of one shop who wouldn't let you go in the back and get to your car for whatever reason. There's no excuse of not getting pictures. Then he gets the brilliant idea saying he needs to get a patent before showing it! That takes years to do and a lot of money. Point is, we'll never see pictures because it doesn't exist outside his warped brain.

I know for sure i dont want a pice of **** under my hood. How much rpm can this antique handle. Reality check its 2007 not ww2 era. Or are you just that behind on the world. Perhaps you spent 20 yrs in your room and forgot that there are people out here who care about you all you need to do is go to a psychatrist and get help.

Re: Kaiser Roto-charger on my Trans Am
Sorry but I just don't think even a mod'ed LO-3 has what it take to outrun a L-98 ... though they share the same injection system the 350 can more then make up for mod's you have. I know mine can beat a 90 corvette by 8 car lengths so that puts in in the mid to high 13's very easily.
However this thread isn't about my car is faster then yours. So lets keep on topic ..... If it continues to stay on it's path of being locked I will just ask a moderator to lock it. I do have better things to do then respond to insults directed at me.

You guys have been ragging on Jproz enough, and the thread's turned from "the execution of this swap isn't really done properly, and we don't believe you until we see pics" to insults, so I'm locking it. If Jproz gets pictures up and wants to re-open the thread, or ask some tech related question about this swap, he can PM me. I tried emailing him, but it bounced.
BTW - A bicycle chain won't take the abuse for long. Compressing enough air to give a few psi of boost takes a ton of HP. I flipped to the "HP Required to Compress Air" tables in Machinery's Handbook, and for 10 psi, you'll need .036 HP per CFM. Assuming a 300 hp engine uses 400 cfm (I forget the rough conversion), that's 14.4 HP, not counting any friction in the belts, gears, chains, rotors, etc... A strong cyclist is good for 1/2-3/4 HP, so you'd be better off using a chain/sprocket from a 125cc dirtbike... When the bike chain snaps and whips around, it can do some good damage.
Anyways, if you (Jproz) want to open this up again, PM me. Most of the folks here have solid reasons why they're ragging on the setup, and are trying to help you learn how to do things correctly (i.e. learn from their mistakes rather than watching your happen). We've all been there, and it's great to have a resource of knowledgeable folks trying to help.
