I'm finally finished.

And it's pouring down and rain. WTF??? I want to go for a test thrash. Here are a couple of pics. I jetted the secondaries on my carb 3 stages rich .110 and left the primaries stock for now. Will probably end up richening the primaries up to. Need to go test drive it. If it's not raining tomorrow, even for a few minutes and it's a bit dry, I'm driving it.

That is a great looking setup. Where did you get that rubber tubing that runs from the turbos to the carb? Some of that would make my tt project a lot easier. Looks better than PVC pipe, too

Again, that engine looks simply awesome :hail:

Thanks guys. I'll definately let you all know how it runs. Hopefully soon. I got that rubber hose from an industrial supply place. (Williams Oil Filter) here in Tacoma. It was almost $50 for 5 feet of it. It is tough and has wire going through it. Worked out pretty good. I also used T bolt hose clamps. They're much stronger and hold tighter that the regular hose clamps.

Do you have a BOV on those bad boys?I dont see one in the pic anywhere.Or are you able to run without one for some reason?

It's an auto, so a BOV isn't really the most needed thing.

tubing

I know we sell tubing like that at napa. It looks like the tube that is used to run to the gas tank.

Are you afraid you wil loose presssure by using rubber tubing?

I have Deltagates on both ends of the headers. No BOV no room for one. That hose isn't like that hose at NAPA. It's a lot stronger and has wires running through it and it's very strong. I shouldn't lose any pressure using it. I'll find out if it ever stops raining here.

The turbos are T3's 63X60 and my wastegates are set at 9psi. I should go to 5 psi but I'm too lazy.

That tubing looks like stuff I've seen at a power plant for temporary air hose (110 psi). Probably overkill for a boosted application since the clamps are the most important part. I doubt it will expand at all though, a good thing.

Nice Nice job....... Get some 114 octane race gas.

Might want to use a set of detonation ears while testing.

go to www.autospeed.com and search the free tech articles on how to build a DIY set of detonation head phones from a
simple radio shack listening amplifier. It's easy to build.
Makes the best detonation sensor going..... your ears...

Just an idea for you. See that area on either side of the carb bonnet where there isn't anything in the way? You could easily weld a flange onto one side of that bonnet (or even on top of the bonnet if you have enough clearance in the cowl scoop) and mount a BOV to vent to the atmosphere. Might be worth it to prolong the life of your turbos, plus they sound cool.

I'd love to put one on but I paid $170 for the bonnet, it's aluminum and nice and shiny. I'd hate to cut a hole in it. I do have wastegates though, one for each turbo. That's gonna have to do it for now.

Nice work. I'd love to see some more pictures on the installed downpipe on the drivers side. I've been banging my head to the wall trying to figure out a way of doing a nice clean setup. My JY Turbo project is still in the "which route to go" phase - no fabrication has been done yet.
