Warrantee.no. Guarantee yes. I can guarantee your satisfaction.
That said, I can only guarantee what I can control. This includes parts and labor. Improper install, bad torque converter, contaminated converter or cooler, stretched or misadjusted tv cable etc can contribute to early death. Most pro's will not stand behind these things as they have no control. This is true for a mail order or cash and carry unit anyway, regardless of where it is bought. Shoot Brutalform a pm. His was built rather inexpensivly and is doing quite well. 11 sec et's and 1.6 60' times. Remember, I am a floor guy by day. Transmissions are a hobby for me.

As a customer, I have a hard time spending large money with a stranger hundreds of miles a day. I would never blame others for thinking this way. Buying local has its advantages. Buying from someone who has pride in their work is always a good thing. I do it for the satisfaction and the ability to make money in my spare time.

700r4 89
Rebuilt:includes 8 friction 3/4 pack, vette servo, kevlar band,.500 boost valve $625
Add for h/d reaction shell $55
Add for B&M shift kit $65
Add for 5200 (approx)
governor $48
Add for 2200-2600
lockup converter $150

Note: If you have an 87-93 later model core I will need it. If not, add $150 core charge. I will only build these later, better year, units to sell. The pre 87 (Non aux valve body years) are not worth doing. Unless someone wants their exact trans done.

This is the same build I use in my own 10 sec (with nos) car. Brutalform is running in the 11's with the same trans.

Almost forgot.. Speedo gears and speedo sensor are not included. You must reuse your own.

I have never shipped anything this large. I don't know what shipping would be. With the core charge and shipping, It will likely be over $300 combined. Buying local would probably be your best bet.

Absolutely.
Read the first post. I am trying to sell local if possible.
Gm transmissions do not contain shift kits, .500 boost valves, heavy duty reaction shell, heavy duty clutch pack, vette governors, or a high stall converter. If a light or standard duty trans is all you need, you should buy one from the dealership. Excellent warrantee and usually less than $1500 bucks. It is a very good trans with a warantee. Good luck with your purchase either way

Will do. Check with others who have done the swap. I have never personally done the swap. I am sure there are pitfalls to avoid.

well the reason i was interested is because im in northern md and your in pa. what about if i didnt take the torque converter. and whats the difference with the governor? also, i can send you a b&m shift kit I have here if it helps. if the governor is only the 5200 rpm shift then i can do without it. i also have a brand new governor that i have laying around and i can send it with the shift kit. i used it for about 1/4 of a mile and realized that the car still didnt shift and the old tranny was screwed. i havent lost all interest, by the way. (in case you couldnt tell )

EDIT: could I also give you an 86 trans with working torque converter for at least part of the core charge?
