Forged 383 engine with ported AFR 210's and lot of other goodies
The engine has around $10,000 invested into it. It includes a forged 4340 Eagle ESP crankshaft, Eagle 4340 H-beam 6" rods and Wisco flat top pistons that equate to a 12:1 compression ratio. The block is an 010 block with four-bolt mains ARP studs and ARP bolts througout. The block has been decked, aligned bored, and the rotating assemble has been balanced all done by M&M Racing here in Indpls. I have all paperwork showing the work done to the engine.
The engine is also equipped with a set of comp retro-fit hyd. roller lifters, crane aluminum rocker arms, hardened trick flow pushrods and a miniram intake system atop the shortblock, including portmatching to the heads and a 58mm throttle body capable of flowing 1000cfm. The injectors are 36lb. inj. and the camshaft is a TPIS zz-x hyd. roller cam, which is 239/239 dur. at .050 and .598 lift on both sides. The engine is also equipped with a march pulley set and edelbrock aluminum water pump. Now to the main investment in the engine, the cylinder heads.
These heads have around $3000 into them and were re-done recently with upgraded springs, a 3 angle valve job. Check out previous posts under the names LETHALRACER and camarojoe for more info on these heads. In short these heads flowed right at 300cfm int. and 235cfm exh. at .600 lift. I can send pics of the flow charts if requested. Brian Tooley knows how to port a set of heads, just check out the Total Engine Airflow website.
I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention some other details about the engine but if you have any other questions, pm me. This engine has about 1000 miles on it and has been dyno-tuned at 380 rwhp with a huge stall eating power. My 3800 lb z ran low twelves at 117 with this engine with 3.73 gears. and only 28 total degrees timing. This was until I had problems with my wiring harness and the engine hasn't been running since. It's a shame but I'm going to sell the engine together and part out the rest of the car due to buying a home and marriage plans in the near furture. Asking price is $5500obo for the engine. Please contact me with any questions.

TTT, I also have a Pro-built 700R-4 and Precision Industries 9" 3200 stall that I originally intended to sell separately but I will part with this complete drivetrain including flexplat for 6k! This engine only has about 900 miles on it and the ttranny and stall were almost $2500 new and have less than 5k miles on them!!! I will send pics, if needed. I may also be able to deliver the drivetrain if you're within a couple hundred miles of Indy.

If only i was in the market for a 383. That is one hell of a motor, and that's exactly what i was trying to build awhile ago, i remember talking to you about that on the boards. Anyway, for the price you're willing to let all that go at, that's a deal and a half. Wish I had the money. Good luck.
