hey man, if you don't want them, I'll take them! I'd be looking to spend about 150$ for the seats since shipping to switzerland is a bummer and I got ripped off already once
let me know!

For the majority, it's as much a restoration as it also is a customization. Though through customization, someones own taste and flavor show through with non-original or non-stock parts, like I'm sure it shows with you having a 400 cid engine in an 82.
Lets try to keep in mind that all of this is a hobby, unless you make a living off of doing this kind of stuff for the less hands on types of people. Lets not be so critical. Noone here should be passing judgement, regardless of personal feelings or opinions.....save that for a judge with an actual competition

Sorry, it's not really a put down on the "KR" community, but how many "GOOD" conversions have you seen? Probably none. I know I haven't. The average person isn't going to be able to spend the amount needed to make a good conversion. You ever see the price on one already made?? It's outragous and you will never get that kind of money out of it again if you sell it. Anyone can slap a nose on it and a light and make it "KITT" The only people that should make "KITT" are people who have an '82 TA with all the stuff already. Look at Ebay. Are you going to spend 2500 for a set of "Knight Rider" rims and another 400 for the "Knight Rider Hubcaps"? What about 800 for the "Knight Rider" seats. And if the interior trim happens to be tan, you know it will say "Knight Rider" and probably be 3 times as much as any other color...get some friggen dye Door panels...well "Knight Rider tan" will go for about 400. Why not get some from Hawks for less than half that. Now with all that I have spended more money than what I paid for my car That doesn't include the dash and everything else. Let's not forget the Recaro Kitt's out there...what a waste of a car.

I think with the amount that people charge, they must be making a living off of it.

I'm not passing any judgement, but you have to admit that alot of what I've said is true. People can do whatever they want, I just don't like the fact that people are getting screwed for parts because of a certain color or tv show. And what I mean by that is getting charged outragous prices for stuff that normally wouldn't cost hardly
anything.
