383 shortblock, 700R4 Probuilt, 2800Stall, +MORE!

(PROBUILT $1395) I will sell with it for an additional $650. I also have a 9.5" 2800Stall converter for it, ($450) I will sell for an additional $300 with the car. I also have a forged 383 shortblock (never run, $3k invested) all paperwork and receipts (eagle, eagle, SRP) blower motor; $2000obo for that with the car.

Tranny was run for 200 miles~~ at which point the twin turbo motor (now trashed) blew up.

My old 1989 RS camaro, was a twin turbo daily driver.

Clean and straight, New KYB suspension and NEW Springs. NEW Front end (Tie rods, Centerlink, pitman, idler, bushings). Fiberglass Cowl Hood (in primer). WELD style rims "Ultra".

NEW tires. NO RUST ANYWHERE.

No motor, no transmission.

I have the tranny that came out of it

Car: 1991 Z28 Vert
Engine: 383 single plane efi
Transmission: T-56
Axle/Gears: 8.8 with 3.73s
So I am confused, are you selling the shortblock only, or the whole car with it, and then how much for just the short block?

$2000 for the shortblock.

Eagle 3.75" Stroker crank 4340
Eagle 6" Forged rods
JE Pistons 4.030" Forged Blower Inverted Dome Coated crown lowered ring land and Moly rings gapped for boost
New M55 pump and pickup For DEEP SUMP 7Qt Oil pan (moroso pan) Bolted picked;
Comp XE262 114LSA Blower Grind cam with new Comp Timing chain double setup

Internal balance high nickel block main studs (honed with main studs torqued) new freeze plugs Felpro headgasket motor plates included.

$3K~ invested. Was going to bolt a set of AFR195's onto it, a procharger D-1SC and make 600+RWHP with it. the farthest we got was to bolt the heads on it, but I've since sold those (said AFR's) now the shortblock has to go.

I'm confused as well about the price of the tranny.???

Also, what all was done to it by Pro-built for your application?

The transmission was built by ME, I used ALL of probuilt's kit and instruction from DANA. The transmission is identical to the one probuilt builds as a "Street-strip" kit. All of the build information is on my website Geocities.com/kingtaling
including all the parts that I used in the process.

the cowl I beleive should go with the car, It is 2" or so. its in primer, needs to be finished and painted.

if you have more direct questions please dont hessitate to call me, 786-306-3124

I am highly negotiable on these prices, these are just what I was hopeing to get. I have over $1k invested in the tranny alone. If you want the converter AND tranny I will let both together go for $90, where I have $1600 invested. all of it is nearly new.

are you willing to ship this shortblock? If so, what would you take WITHOUT the cam in it? and also WITHOUT the oil pump you have listed?

Well, I have a buyer to ship this shortblock to, but I cant find his email address and I havnt heard from him in 2 weeks, and my father is moving soon, and I dont want to move this shortblock and 700R4 with me... so if you are interested I can have it shipped almost anywhere in the USA for $2150 flat-rate. If you need specs again its geocities.com/kingtaling

1: Edge Racing
2: Lockup yes
3: 200 miles, maybe less
4: converter goes with tranny, unless tranny sells by itself. the converter was built and reconfigured around the way the tranny was built, for instance the checkball in the end of the input shaft has been removed for instant converter clutch lockup, perfect for a lightweight carbon clutch converter like mine. now, put a stock converter in its place and lockup will get harsh. Shift characteristics are also built around this converter, so while this converter would be fine in someone elses tranny, The use of a stock converter with my tranny is a no-no, so unless someone using a 9.5" converter buys my tranny I will not separate the two.

I just finished my probuilt rebuild and I need a converter.

I know you don't want to seperate the two, but if you'd be willing to sell me only the converter, it would be perfect for my application.

I have a decent offer for my transmission, but I would have to ship it.

Since I would rather not ship a $1100transmission, If anyone is local enough to me t pick it up (or meet half way) to South Florida, I will take $800 for tranny / converter and bring it half way.
