Pacific NW racers needed
So you think you can drive? You think you are good behind the wheel? You like to autocross and want to try a real track day too? The Optima Search for the Ultimate Streetcar has openings for the event at Portland International Raceway on July 21 - 23. This is your chance to go head to head with some of the best drivers out there. The competition is in 5 parts. Autocross. Speed Stop. Road Course. Road cruise. And Design and Engineering. 3rd gens fall into 2 classes. 1982 - 1989 race in Vintage class. 1990 - 1992 race in modern muscle.
Based on other posts on the forum, there are racers in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest that think they're good. Here's a chance to show everyone how good. Not many thirdgens run this series and not many people show up to events in the Pacific NW. So this might be your shot at an invite to SEMA and a chance to run OUSCI.
