Anticipating 1st ever race in the 1/8, Predictions?

Current season is closing tomorrow for Friday Night Drags so I'm having to wait till it starts up again in April, anyway. I'm planning on running my pretty much stock '92 Z L98. Only mods are edelbrock shorties with the AIR lines cut and tapped, full flowmaster exhaust with large tips, 3.42's are being used and a tb bypass. What should I be expecting?

9.5 @ 75 mph would be my guess. When my 89 was stock that is what it did with 2.77 gears.

Well with 3.42 gears and headers, if you can hook I am going to go on a limb and say around 9.3 at a higher mph like 76 mph.

Got my hands on a MSD 6A module with Accel Distributor...that wouldn't bump me a bit faster would it?

probably not in stock form...will help keep the ignition system stable once you start adding other go-fast goodies though.

I'd guess 9.2-9.3 aswell. Maybe 9.1. My 305 running 9.3x converts to 14.5x 1/4, which is about the stock ET of a 350. Your gears are better though.
