Hey, I saw one of your replies and said that you go up to Metro. I live in Upper Marlboro. I was up there on Saturday night with 7 of my friends. I was just about to line up and race when the Trooper came through with his lights on. Its hilarious to see everybody runnin, lol. I have an '88 GTA Trans Am. I'll race you, but just for fun..no money, i'm poor enough as it is and i'm saving up for a down payment on a 2000 Roush Mustang GT, lol.

Sorry it took so long to respond but I am at work and sometimes I have to work.

How long have you been going there? Have you seen my Mustang 'danjrus' or 'staged'?

It is funny the way everybody takes off when the police show up. I've had PG County draw a gun on me.

It was kinda funny. Police came everyone scattered and a red mustang hit a cop car and ran. So they after everyone with red mustangs. I was the last one out because I don't want to get caught up with the crazzzies. This cop came wheeling up around me and slammed to a stop and pull his gun on me. This stopped every one behind me. This cop couldn't believe that being as old as I (51) that I would be out here. He asked why and I told him I have the fastest car which was true. They did get the other mustang and the cop let me go. But he gave many tickets to the other cars behind me.

PG County cops are ????? You rarely see any cops pull their guns on TV's Cops. I should have gotten his badge number and reported him.

Have you been done on V-Street in DC? The jersey bunkers have been moved and they are racing down there again. It is much better than driving around with all the imports and cops. I will be there this weekend weather permitting. Red 91 Mustang (DANJRUS) or (STAGED) or my Tahoe.

See ya there, Pete

I've heard about V-street, and i followed some guys down there one time, but I got lost because they cut in front of a slow a$$ truck and i got stuck at a stoplight, so i left right after that and went back up to Metro. I might go up to V-street sooner or later, is it a lot better than Metro? (ex. are there less cops?)

There are two ways to get there from Metro. Take 50 into DC and it merges onto BW Parkway. That the first exit on the right and watch for a sign V-Street with an arrow pointing left. Make left at the stop sign. That is v-street but watch out that is also the finish line. Just follow it down to where everyone is standing around and park. The other way is to stay on BW Parkway (it will change names to New York Ave.) and make a right a first light at the Checkers. Go two more lights and make another right and follow this up for about 1/4 mile (watch out for the train tracks). You will come up to the starting line.

What I like about this area is people come there to race and make money. Imports come to race also. NO crusing like they do at Metro. The police come but not as bad as Metro. V-Street is in a bad neighborhood but where they race is safe because everyone there is out to race and not to kill someone.

See ya there, weather permitting.

Pete
