Does anyone have pics of a Wolfe or similar rear sway bar mounted? I understand that it mounts to the frame with the endlinks attached to the axle... just curious as to what it looks like.

I dont have any roll bar specific shots, just a few action shot you can see it in the shadows...

if your thinking you could buy a cheaper anti roll bar kit and fab it up yourself..your right, you can...i just wanted one before a race that weekend, so [ushed the issue, but feel i could've had a better fit fabbing on myself.

Yeah, I was thinking of fabbing up something. Used IMCA and NASCAR bars from 1 inch up to 1 5/16 and plentiful and cheap, I really just wanted to see how low a straight bar under the rear REALLY was.....

Wolfe has some great pics on their website. I really like the bar that mounts between the upper framerails but I am going to keep the stock tank, so that is out. $365 seems a bit high so I think a used bar is my best bet.

Do you guys see any problem with using the splined-end bars? Any pros/cons to using a solid bar vs a hollow bar?

I have the one from Spohn, (Drag Pro Series) it was expensive but works great. It bolts to the frame where the old tabs were for the stock sway bar. Keeps my car straight.

Yeah, I looked at Spohn's too, but it costs more than the Wolfe piece......

Mine sits just under the center section, actually up just a bit so i t covers the bottom bolts on the 3rd member...only way i could get the brackets to fit diff, hold roll bar, and have end links long enough to go upto body's rear sub frames...kind of a focking joke IMO, and had i more time, i would've scraped the brackets that weld to the diff. and made my own.

soild/hollow/splined...no matter, they will all serve the same purpose and be a very worth while addition to the chasis...i have some old pics with the body roll (even with air bag in pass rear at 50psi) and car lifting just the driver side front tire, first pass i knew the anti roll bar made a difference, no twist at all, both tires off the ground, left the line flat/straight...one of the best suspension mods ever IMO for these cars that see track use....I've got quite a few street miles on it also, and i tend to chekc all mounts anytime car is in the air, and so far, everything is holding up fine...knock on wood...but it does make the ride ALOT stiffer.

Here`s a shot of the wolfe anti roll, I could say it was expensive but it really was worth the $...it`s light very well made and goes on without a hitch..I have a vid of before and after too..

Thats what I wanted to know. I knew that the ride would be stiffer. BTW, you linked to same video in your before and after links....

I'll just buy one the hundreds of NASCAR takeoffs on the net and fab up brackets. Two 1/4" thick brackets per side should be plenty. If I can find a sway bar that has the roller bearings and the splined endlink brackets still attached, I should be fine.

What is the width of the Wolfe bar? I am not at the shop tonight, so I can't measure my rear.
