List of things to do before the fest?

This is the first year my car really does not need anything to go to the party

I was just curious what kind of to-do list others have before the big day?

re-wire car harness front to back--almost done

I have some minor things to get done, a little bit of welding, spray the spoiler and the engine bay. Then give it a wash and wax! I guess I could get it done in a weekend, when I get time. My fiance opened a flower shop in Mokena last weekend, and then our wedding is in April, so by Mid-May I should be able to get some time to get around to it.

I still have to finish the stuff that I didnt get done for last year.

- Finish the 4th gen guages
- Finish the Ram Air Setup
- Redo the headliner

The only thing I got done since last year is put in a new clutch, so this year I can actualy get on it without it slipping like crazy.

Thanks Steve. I'll try not to get you involved in my mess. If it gets to be late April and it's not done, you might get a call. On the other hand, if you're not tied up fixing your Camaro, I've got lots of beer and a heated garage...

My list:

About a weekends worth of odds-n-ends to get the engine fired.
Install 9-inch- assemble 95 Z28 rear discs to housing
Install new C4HD front brake kit
Install booster/master/prop valve
Install wonderbar, Eibach springs, LCA's, adj Panhard, STB, etc.
Install complete interior (nothing but the dash in there now)
Install weatherstripping

I'm sure there's more, but the list is already giving me a headache.

Get this damn 406 in . I've had it for over a year now . Just need to buy some pistons and install it . And some sub-frame connectors to add on to the stock vert ones . New paint will have to wait a year at least . And Tony Walch , you forgot your most important thing , buy beer

Car: 88 IROC-Z

I have to prep both of mine:
IROC:
Get my racing exemption for emmisions & register the car
Install new AFPR
Replace all the steering linkage
Find out why the engine is tapping and fix it

Formula:
Find, rebuild and install a 350
Patch the drivers side floor pan
Install new t-top & door weatherstripping
Install new exterior locks all the way around
fix up the interior
Get the paint on the nose touched up

Thats just the stuff off the top of my head. Good thing I have a shop or I'd be screwed.

I have a lot of nitt-picky things.

As is, the car will drive and make it to the fest. All the nitt-picky things would be gravy.

Get windshield wipers working
Get HVAC working
Replace fender and front clip
Push-pin headliner
etc

I haven't gotten anything done yet, mine will most likely end up coming the same way it was last year. Oh well, maybe it will all be done for next year.

Ring Ring!! Ring Ring!!!

I'd love to have your assistance if you have time. Pretty much for the last 2 months all I've done is go to work, sleep, and work on the car. I've even cut the sleep time down. My wife came out to the garage to get me at 4am on Wed Night (Thurs morning?). Yes, it sucked being at work 3-1/2 hours later. Anyway, if you get yours done with time to spare, give me a shout.

alright, next week i'll run out there sometime to give you a hand. hoping to get my car to jay's during mid week to have him wetsand/buff my car and put the rest of my windows together. then hopefully fire up his car as well, that'll be trailer rental #1 for me, then #2 will be thirdgenfest. monday i'm supposed to wire up daturbosix's car if he finishes everything else this weekend, so who knows. tomorrow jay's supposed to weld in some harness tabs for me, i've been fighting this cold for quite a few days now too, trying to sleep a lot and get over there. today's the 12th, you have officially two weeks to finish 'er up kev....i'll give ya a hand next week for sure.

Wow, everyone's got problems. I have to do...NOTHING. Cause I don't own a third gen anymore. I've been helping out my friend Tom to get his 88 GTA going before TGF.
His list...
Install engine/trans/driveshaft,
remove fenders, nose and door,
sand, prime and paint everything,
install door, fenders nose and hood.
If there is time, it might get wet sanded and buffed.

I might drive my '87 Monte SS there if I have somewhere to be after. If not, I'll ride with the GTA.
