I'm moving to Indianapolis once I get this transmission put in my car. If there's any meets, cruises or anything of that sort please let me know. I also will like to meet someone who knows something about these cars. I would hate to have my hands in the wrong person that's how my last one caught on fire. 😒. So any mechanics or people down for a cruise say hello.

im a couple hours north in the kokomo area and go to college in rencellear so im not realy close, but its nice to know im not the only one this far south. ill keep ya in mind if i hear about anything.

Pete G. Here, Indianapolis area local. work in the city for triple A and live about 20 mi south. Know these cars fairly well being that I have owned and built 3, have a white 86 iroc now with several spare parts( from 3 different cars mind you) I tend to see several meeting places around the city, but not really a cult following of f body's, which is sad! We need to form a club or a meet in Indianapolis. WHOS WITH ME?

I'm on the north side of Indianapolis, not really sure what area you're at. The meets I go to are the indy northside meet in novlesville on sundays, and there's one down in greenwood I go to from time to time. Also know a few guys trying to start one up in Carmel, but I don't know many third gen owners in the area so sometime we should cruise to a meet together

I'd be up for a cruise or thirdgen get together in the Indy area. There is a Camaro gathering(for all generations) in Plainfield IN on May 2nd for anyone interested. The info for it was posted on facebook by the Central Indiana Camaro Club.

I think that event is pretty much camaros only. I also go down to the Suds in Greenwood occasionally in the Summer. There is also a Cruise-In here in Danville the First Friday of every month of the Summer.

I recently moved to Brazil, Ind. and I'd be up for a cruise/gathering. Anybody know what happened to Denny and Thirdgen Fest in Crete, Ill. I heard something about it not happening this year.

Not sure what happened with Denny but it sounds like his business is going under. I think it's safe to assume thirdgenfest won't be happenening this year. Thirdgen Expo might be a good option though.
