Darnell from the movie "Christine" told the boy "that you can't polish a turd!". This statement does not apply to your car.
Nice find! It looks great!

Nice rig. Good luck. These cars are getting hard to find in good condition.

Don't tell me your selling it already?! You just got it!
The value of these cars varies. For the most part, desired options will affect your vehicle that would induce potential buyers. KBB and NADA seem to have different views on pricing on our thirdgens. Most likely low balling their value other then the exception of the TTA. However Hemmings shows a little more love in their value. I actually took a gander at a '86 red iroc-z, pratically identical to yours and has about 89k on the clock that's auto/305 combo. Seller is asking 8k and from the pictures you can tell it's well taken care of.
I believe our cars are starting to go up in value, because the past two years i haven't been about to find reasonable ones selling for less then 5k. Before that, it use to be anywhere between 2 to 5k....Our cars are starting to become classics and i could see why they would increase in value.
If you are tending to make your car into a somewhat collector vehicle, i highly recommend getting as much info for your car. Meaning getting as much documentation as possible. Over the course of time when I had my car, I bought a '89 pontiac brochure, a PHS packet, a reproduction window sticker, and a copy of the original invoice. Even, if your not planning on selling your car these documents will make spectators aware of what you have. Decent looking iroc-zs are somewhat hard to come by. My uncle had a '85 Iroc-z with that "camaro, camaro, camaro" interior, which i hear is somewhat rare was a real head turner, that car had the HO 305/5spd with ttops and 3.73 gears. Very fun and felt like it had more power then my GTA. Well in whatever you do with your ride is up to you, but i say enjoy it for what it's worth because i'm sorely missing mine

Good looking car for a Camaro
Seriously though, it looks good.
If your happy with it, find a place to store it for the winter. Easier than tracking down another car after selling this one.
