I really hope I like the sub frame connectors I ordered. Never felt what a sfc car feels like.

If you've ever driven a stiff european car, it's about like that. Everything feels a lot more "connected" when you make steering/braking/throttle inputs. A little more go-kart like. They should also help with the random weird creaking and popping noises when rolling down the road. It might still creak on huge curbs and inclines but it'll definitely be less bad than it was.

I did a lot of research when I got mine, I don't think anyone has EVER regretted getting them, so don't worry.

I just have a set of the jegs sfc and it made a difference in the way it feels, I also have the spohn wonder bar up front since mine didn't come with it from factory.

I ordered the spohn tubular style. Its a great design and it plays nice with the y-pipe i will be ordering soon. Now i just need to find a good shop to weld it in properly. Thats going to be the hard part. I want it done right!

A good exhaust shop with a drive on lift. Make sure they have pretty welds and are willing to follow the directions and weld along the pinch rail as well as to the two subframes. If they're REALLY good they'll even paint the welds for you, if not you'll want to score some good primer and/ or paint.

they're easy to install, if you're up north more you can have speed inc weld them in they're in schaumburg. I have the jegs brand bolt in subframes that I welded in my garage. It's not a difficult install at all.

I tried to get them installed last year, but because the previous owner of my car thought it was a Rally Car it kind of went off road a bit. The frame is still straight but the pinch-rails are folded up against the body in place so the SFCs can't be installed. I need to get the car on a drive on lift because I was yanking hard enough when it was on Jackstands that I either broke tools, or was afraid the car would fall off the stands from the effort.

So I gave up on that end. If I get it mobile I need to borrow a lift some where and spend an hour or so straightening them out.

^Mine was jacked up by one of the rails once. A large pair of vise grips works wonders, just clamp it and bend it.

Try at least half of the pinch rail is completely flattened against the body. They went off roaring with it or slid over a curb. Vice grips ain't gonna cut.

Just hammer them back down or buy the jegs bolt in style and weld them in. Doesn't need the pinch rail at all.

It does if i want it welded to the pinch rails. can't hammer them down when they are already down and flat in spots.

if I had a picture it would be obvious what I'm talking about.

I was saying the jegs ones don't need the pinch rail welded. Not to mention most of the strength is in welding the rear LCA mount and the front subframe together, not the pinch rail. All the chassis forces are on those two points.

Don't at all like the way you lose out on ground clearance with the inner style sfcs. Outer is the only choice for me.

They look better when they are on the car.
